Country Parks Officer (6-month fixed term contract)
37 hours a week to be worked over 7 days

We are seeking motivated individuals to work in the Service Delivery Directorate within the Visitor Business and Economy Unit. You will assist in developing an enjoyable customer experience at our two Country Parks. You will provide information, advice and assistance to visitors and local schools and groups.
With a love of the outdoors and a passion for ensuring that the sites are presented in first class order, you will be practical in nature and be comfortable with tool use as you will support in the inspection and maintenance of play areas, site cleansing, paths, fencing, benches and grounds. You must have a good level of education or relevant experience and a driving licence with own transport; it would be beneficial if you held an NVQ or similar qualification in a related field and a First Aid qualification. Your role will involve working with customers so experience in a customer service role in Country Parks and visitor attractions is highly desirable.
You will be part of a wider team and will occasionally cover the information desk; providing information, support and first aid when needed. The country park team deliver a number of events across the year and you will also help ensure these are successful events, enjoyed by our visitors.
