Nominations are now open! Join AWCA – Asian Welfare and Cultural Association in celebrating the contributions and achievements of people who help make our community more accessible and inclusive for all. Especially during the Pandemic.

This is not specifically about race; it could be in terms of staff welfare, change in the physical environment, service development or promoting understanding and cohesion.

The nomination can be done by yourself or others on the appropriate nomination form.

Please indicate if the person being nominated is under 25 years of age.

Who deserves an award?

The awards recognise the achievements and contributions of individuals, businesses and organisations promoting accessibility, inclusion and full community participation.

Award recipients include individuals who are advocates for others /or whose personal example of excellence demonstrates the potential of all members of the community. They also include individuals, companies, agencies, and other organisations that have created opportunities for all people with to participate more fully in their workplaces, schools and volunteer organisations.

Nominate someone!

Please take the time to nominate a friend, colleague, client, employee, business, event, or employer who deserves to be celebrated! Consider nominating individuals or organisations whose accomplishments have yet to be publicly acknowledged.

Nominate Early!

Nominees who submit all required forms and nomination information by 28th February 2022 will be entered in a draw for two free tickets to our Diversity Dinner Dance event that is due to take place in March 2022. Good luck to all the early birds! Nominations are now open.
