Take the kids along to Market Place near the Leigh Road Recreation Ground to enjoy a brilliant, giant illustrated playground – Available to enjoy for the next 3 months

A brand-new larger than life 2D Wriggle and Scribble play map has been installed where it can be enjoyed free of charge by children, adults and everyone in between!

The map has been created by A Line Art and its installation has been supported by Eastleigh Borough Council and the Welcome Back Fund.

Pop along to move, shake, scribble, shuffle, hop, bop, dance, star jump and wriggle your way around the course.

Cabinet Lead for Economy Councillor Derek Pretty said: “This is a fantastic free activity for families in the Borough to enjoy when visiting the town centre. The Welcome Back Fund has allowed us to do some fantastic things around the town to encourage people back onto the high street.”

Founder of A Line Art artist Anna Bruder said: “We’ve all had a tough few years and the Wriggle and Scribble playground is a celebration of Eastleigh and an invitation for the community to share a moment of creative connection. The map is very special, very colourful and extremely playful!”

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the play map – it’s only there for the next 3 months!
