One Community are looking for a personable, flexible individual to join our Options Day Activities team, you will be required to work as part of a team at our Day Centres and the additional opportunity to work independently within the community, at clients homes.
This role will be fundamental in the high quality service we provide, by providing cover for various staff members throughout our Day Centres and therefore it is a paramount that the post holder is flexible within their approach to hours of work.
The role will also involve supporting clients to take part in activities, food preparation, companionship, administration of medication, support with personal care, supporting clients to access the community and manage their home.
The post holder will need to be organised, an excellent communicator. The role will be varied, challenging and rewarding ensuring that our services meet the needs of our local community.
This post is based at our Bursledon Day service with the allocated days being Wednesday and Thursday. Working Hours are 9am to 5pm.
Regular One to One’s will be provided.
Post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. NVQ Qualifications desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
