On the 12th of September, Eastleigh BID hosted our AGM and Customer Experience Awards at The Point, Eastleigh.
The evening kicked-off with drinks, food and a chance for the businesses to get to know each other better before moving into the main theatre. Once seated, Teresa Swann (Eastleigh BID Manager) spoke about the BID’s achievements over the past 12 months and plans for the future. This was followed by Alison Woodhouse from LoyalFree promoting their app and how it can benefit the businesses in the local area.
The evening was compared by the fabulous Daniel Ferret – actor, presenter and all round fun, entertaining host 🙂
After a short break, the awards ceremony commenced with Tracy Taylor from Mystery Shoppers sharing some of the amazing results that the participating businesses had achieved. This included an average score from the mystery shops being 94%!!! The overall category winners received a trophy and winner certificate in recognition for all their hard work. The trophies and certificates were kindly presented by the Mayor of Eastleigh, Councillor Nick Chouldrey. All 75 businesses that took park in the mystery shopping experience were awarded a framed certificate – Gold, Silver or Bronze award.
