Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings with the support of Eastleigh Town Council

2024 is the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Normandy landings. To remember the sacrifices paid by our nation’s Armed Forces on June 6th 1944, the Royal British Legion Industries has created some very special memorabilia. This entire collection is made or fulfilled by vulnerable veterans and those with disabilities employed by RBLI.

As Eastleigh Town Council doesn’t own and operate venues within Eastleigh town centre at the present time, they has decided to commemorate this very special anniversary by offering support to local businesses who wish to visually show their respects.

They are offering the opportunity to request D-Day commemorative merchandise to be displayed in your business premises for the week leading up to the D-Day 80th anniversary and hopefully until the Revelry Event on 6th July.

Items available are:

  • D-DAY 80th Anniversary Lamp Light of Peace – Outdoor use only.
  • A large flag – 5ft x 3ft (1.5m x 0.9m) which can displayed indoors or on a flag pole.
  • Window stickers – set of 3 different stickers. Each one is 14.5cm x 8.5cm (5.7″ by 3.4″). Front adhesive vinyl sticker, to stick inside windows facing out.

All products must be ordered in time for delivery no later than the 8th May 2024.

If your business or organisation would like to be supplied with any of the above please email:

TownClerk@Eastleigh-TCgov.uk with your request.
