Emmaus Hampshire’s 15th Anniversary Celebration Service at Winchester Cathedral – Friday 18th October 2024

Service begins at 2.30pm. Doors open from 2pm

Emmaus Hampshire would like to invite Eastleigh BID members to celebrate their 15th anniversary on Friday 18th October 2024. Emmaus Hampshire provide a unique and sustainable solution to homelessness and social exclusion. The celebration service will include contributions from Companions, Emmaus Hampshire’s President – Alison Thompson MBE, and their CEO, Nigel J Samuels.

They will take the opportunity to demonstrate their environmental and social value to the people of Hampshire, whilst you can also enjoy musical contributions from the Cordelectra trio. The Reverend Canon Roland Riem will lead the service in the company of the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Surgeon-Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis, along with other supporters.

After the service you are invited to join them to enjoy afternoon tea served in the Cathedral’s North Transept, in the presence of Emmaus UK President, Sir Terry Waite.

The event is free to attend but pre-registration is imperative to confirm your reserved seat and afternoon tea. Doors open from 2pm, service begins at 2.30pm and is expected to finish by 4.30pm. To register please visit EVENTBOOKINGEMMAUS.
