Hampshire County Council are due to carryout carriageway resurfacing works in Wells Place from the Junction with Desborough Road to Hanns Way commencing on the 19th of February and are expected to last for 2 days.
During this the road will be closed to traffic from 09:00 – 16:30. The road will open outside of these hours.
Whilst there is an allowance within the time periods shown above for delays, there may be times when works have to be postponed at very short notice based on the latest weather forecasts.
For the safety of the public and the workforce, Hampshire County Council are unable to guarantee access to and from your property during the road closure. Should you need to make an essential journey, please contact a member of the workforce on-site in advance and they will be able to advise if they can accommodate your request.
Pedestrian access will remain available at all times.
Please ensure that no vehicles are parked on the road on the days of resurfacing. Please be aware that any vehicles left parked on the road that prevent the works taking place, face the risk of being removed.
