The rangers have been so busy throughout June with a total of 190 calls. The calls that they receive can be anything from First Aid to Anti Social Behaviour, reporting a suspicious person, litter and fly tipping, the list goes on and on.
This month The Rangers have been assisting with keeping Eastleigh Town Centre clean and tidy. They noticed some overgrown weeds at the back of Vision Express and got to work removing them. The area now looks so much better.

Towards the end of June, The Rangers received a report from Dolly Rockers that there was a lot of litter and mess in an area behind their shop. Again, The Rangers got to work in cleaning up this area, Dolly Rockers were so grateful to them and said:-
” I had asked their advice on the back of the shop that was clearly being used as a rubbish tip, they said they would have a think and come back to me….
A few hours later not only did they come back, they cleaned the entire area of all rubbish, they swept it and made it look amazing!!!
They are a credit to Eastleigh and I would like to pass on my thanks and gratitude”

And it does not end there, during June The Rangers attended TK Maxx as there was a report of a suspected shoplifter in the store. Their presence in the store was a deterrent, the shoplifter changed their mind and left empty handed. This deterrent stopped over £2000.00 worth of products being stolen.

The great results for the month of June shows how the Town Rangers together with the businesses in the Town Centre can make a difference and make the town a safer place to shop and work.
