What to Expect from the all new Chalet Sizzler!

A much loved Hospitality Venue has re opened its doors in Eastleigh Town Centre.

The Chalet Sizzler has a new owner and a new menu with the same relaxed atmosphere you know and love. The twinkly lights are still twinkling and the garden looks great. What everyone wants to know though is what is the verdict on the new menu, is the service good? Lindsey from Visit Eastleigh HQ decided to find out on an evening out with friends.

The evening began at 5pm, we entered The Chalet Sizzler to be greeted with a smile and seated at our table. The first thing that stood out was how clean and tidy everything was and the cutlery was the shiniest I have seen in a long time, we ordered a bottle of wine (Car Hop White Zinfandel) and then as us girls tend to do got to catching up!

When we were ready to order food the waitress took our order, double checked it back with us and it got sent to the kitchen. The food was clearly cooked to order and the chicken was delicious. We were too full for dessert but the menu looked very good!

Once dinner was done we moved to the heated back garden and enjoyed some delicious cocktails, my particular favourite was the Chalet Rum Punch while my friends enjoyed Cosmopolitans, Mojito’s and Espresso Martinis.

The back garden of The Chalet Sizzler is a little hidden gem with more twinkly lights, outside heating and even some blankets so even if the night is a little chilly you don’t have to be!

My overall experience of The Chalet Sizzler is a great one, they have staff that clearly enjoy their jobs, you’re greeted with a smile and that continues throughout the night from all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they welcome feedback from their customers. The food is reasonably priced and you have to try the cocktails as they are delicious!
