Rich joined the Eastleigh BID Team after retiring from Hampshire Constabulary in 2021. As Operations Manager he is responsible for the Town Rangers as well as other schemes within the Town that look at preventing and reducing crime and making Eastleigh Town Centre a safer place.

Rich was stationed in Eastleigh for over 24 years and therefore has an unrivaled knowledge of the local area and community. This knowledge makes him the ideal person to run the Eastleigh BID Shopwatch and Pubwatch schemes and initiatives for crime reduction in Eastleigh.

When not assisting with crime prevention in Eastleigh, Rich can be found on the golf course or watching the football.

Dean is the Eastleigh BID Head Ranger, having lived in the area for over 20 years he has a real insight into the town, its residents and businesses.

Dean brings plenty of skills to the role of Head Ranger from his previous experience within Hampshire Constabulary as well as being an ATM replenisher.

Outside interests of Dean include being a lifelong devotee of live theatre and film, Martial Arts, particularly Shaolin kung fu. He was also an amateur boxer!

Jordan is an Eastleigh BID Town Ranger and brings plenty of skills to the role from his previous experience within the Probation Service, as well as being an ATM replenisher.

When not being a Town Ranger Jordan loves nothing more that watching a Star Wars or Marvel Film and spending time with his family.

 

Juliet Milburn Office and Events Director

Juliet Milburn – Owner of Dolly Rockers, formerly Slice Hair & Slice Academy –

Juliet has owned and worked in the highly successful hairdressers for over 21 years!

The salon has recently been awarded the coveted VTCT certification which enables them to offer market leading qualifications including NVQs, in hairdressing and barbering as well as development skills in other areas.

Juliet and her team are committed to helping people get back to work with assistance in CV writing, general computer and literacy skills, careers advice and counselling.

Daniel Morgan Chair

Dan alongside his wife Claire have run The Good Companions in Eastleigh since August 2018.

They pride themselves on creating a family-friendly and inviting environment catering for all age groups whether they are meeting for a drink or a nice meal.

A chef by trade, Dan creates new seasonal menus every few months. The most popular item on his menu is the Sunday roast.

Dan is a great asset to the Eastleigh BID team of Directors as Chair.

Duncan is the owner and managing director of Graham Martin & Co, Chartered Certified Accountants based on Leigh Road in the heart of Eastleigh.

He has worked there for 18 years and lived in the borough for 28 years having moved here from Southampton where he was born and raised.

His client base is predominantly made up of owner-managed businesses from the local area and he is keen to promote and support their interests in any way he can.

When not at work he is a passionate supporter of Southampton FC, being a lifelong season ticket holder, he also is an avid follower of Hampshire cricket and  Rugby.

Duncan’s primary focus is on providing a first class service to his clients.

Daniel Brain is a highly self motivated, creative individual with a track record of entrepreneurial pursuit and initiative taking. Driven by a passion for serving the community he has initiated and carried numerous projects.

In 2008, Daniel began his own niche business which he still runs part time. With an eye for opportunity he diversified his services greatly over time.

Daniel moved to Eastleigh in 2010 and immediately got involved in the forming of the Eastleigh Basics Bank in partnership with Churches Together in Eastleigh. In 2013 he became the Committee Chair over seeing its transition to being a registered charity. He is now Chair of Trustees and oversees the vision and direction of the organisation which enjoys many local community partnerships and remains entirely volunteer run, with over 60 volunteers currently serving thousands of people each year.

He is an entrepreneur and over the years has run for local council, started a small soup kitchen, a community lunch and currently enjoys running Pop in Tots at Junction Church and a monthly Saturday Dad’s group called DARE to play.

In 2022 he joined the leadership team at Junction Church. Driven by his passion for community and the gospel he continues to innovate new ways the church can engage and serve the local community.

Located in the heart of Eastleigh The Swan Shopping Centre is home to more than 50 stores including TK Maxx, H&M, Next, Argos, New Look and many more. The centre also has a great range of restaurant and leisure venues including Frankie and Benny’s, Nando’s, Prezzo, Hollywood Bowl, Anytime Fitness, Partyman World and VUE Cinema.

I joined the team at the Swan Centre in November 2013 and have worked for the past 15 years in retail and property industry.

Personally I believe in working together as a local community to ensure we can offer our customers a great experience and offer a point of difference to the competition. Having lived in Hampshire for the past 8 years I have always looked on Eastleigh as a town with great potential. I am proud to work in Eastleigh and believe the BID gives us a great opportunity to ensure Eastleigh leads the way giving all businesses the chance to thrive in a highly competitive market.

Helen is well known throughout the Eastleigh Community, not only for her care and compassion but her contributions towards events in and around the Eastleigh area. She plays a part in Remembrance each year, working with the Royal British Legion and taking part in the parade alongside other Eastleigh Businesses and Community Groups.

Business Development Manager at Howden Insurance

Further to working in B2B (newspaper and directory) advertising & sales for 6 years, and then taking a year off to travel the world with my now wife (whom I got engaged to and married along the way!), I came back in 2008 and took up an ‘Insurance Advisor’ role at what was at that time; A-Plan Insurance, in Eastleigh.

A mainstay in Eastleigh, A-Plan – now Howden Insurance – has been a permanent fixture in Eastleigh for over 40 years, servicing the insurance needs of local as well as nationwide clients with both their personal and commercial insurance needs.  In fact, we are now the largest high street-based insurance broker in the country!

Throughout my 16 years at Howden Insurance, I have developed a deep knowledge of insurance, gained my Cert CII and valuable experience in several areas, such as Home, Motor, Travel and Commercial insurance.  I have also been heavily involved in helping to train and mentor who are now some of Howden Insurance’s best Branch managers along the way!

Away from work, you’ll find me coaching my U10 football team, the Hedge End Rangers Eagles, whom my son also plays for, and driving my 13yr old daughter to and from various swim competitions!

I am excited and honoured to be welcomed to the board of Director’s for the Eastleigh BID and look forward to working with other like-minded local people who have nothing but Eastleigh and its’ local businesses’ best interests at heart.
