Pubwatch can be described as the licensed trade’s equivalent of Neighbourhood Watch. The basic principle of Pubwatch is that its licensee members will agree to work together to improve the safety of their premises, for the benefit of their staff and customers.
Pubwatch in Eastleigh is a scheme of local, independent people working in licensed premises. They often take part in safety and alcohol awareness campaigns.
The objectives of Pubwatch Eastleigh are:
- to tackle and prevent anti-social behaviour and criminal activity
- promote safe drinking environments for customers and secure working environments for staff
- improve communication and sharing information between licensees
Dates for your diary – Bi-Monthly Pubwatch meetings take place at Station pub, High Street, Eastleigh, 4pm and usually last 1 hour. Eastleigh BID levy paying licensees are invited to attend the monthly Pubwatch meetings. This is very beneficial and will be taken into account when licence renewal actions are required to be documented.
- 5th November
