The Eastleigh Town Centre Shopwatch Scheme

What is Shopwatch?

Shopwatch is a scheme set up and operated by Eastleigh BID and Eastleigh Borough Council’s business crime reduction partnership (BCRP) alongside the Pubwatch scheme.
Shopwatch is an initiative that’s designed to help prevent daytime town centre crime and theft through the ability for shops and other businesses to communicate with one another directly using a two-way radio system that is linked to the local council CCTV control rooms and the Eastleigh BID rangers.

The scheme operates in line with our data protection responsibilities and as set out in our Privacy Notice.

Shopwatch Two Way Radios

The Shopwatch scheme helps to reduce crime in Eastleigh by connecting all participating members to each other (and the local police and or CCTV control room) using a dedicated two-way radio system.
